Portland Metro & Surrounding Cities

Two trades.
One crew.
Every home.

PDX Construction Group pairs building-science weatherization with full general contracting, so the same team that seals your attic can also open your wall, repair what's underneath, and close it back up right.

CCB #224142

Licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board to perform general contracting work, the same license that covers our repair, remodel, and weatherization-related construction jobs.

Building Performance Institute certification means our assessments follow a "house as a system" standard: air sealing, insulation, and moisture decisions are made together, not in isolation.

What We Do

Weatherization first. Built to perform.

We start with the building envelope: insulation, air sealing, and a whole-home look at where energy is actually being lost. When that work uncovers something structural along the way, our critical repair team handles it directly.

Weatherization

Home Performance

Building-science-driven upgrades, backed by blower-door and infrared data, that cut energy bills, even out comfort room to room, and hold up against Portland's wet winters and smoky summers.

  • Energy assessments (blower door & infrared)
  • Insulation & air sealing, attic to crawlspace
  • Envelope & moisture-related repairs found during assessment
  • Indoor air quality & moisture control
  • Rebate & incentive navigation (Trade Ally access)
General Contracting

Repairs & Construction

Repair work comes first. Most projects start with something that's broken, rotted, or built wrong. From there, we scope additions and larger projects the same crew can carry through.

  • Structural & framing repair
  • Siding, roofing & exterior repair
  • Additions & ADUs
  • Permitting & project management
Get Started
Start with a home energy assessment.

A blower-door and infrared assessment gives us a full picture of how your home performs, the first step for most weatherization work.

How A Project Runs

Assessment. Plan. Build.

Every job, weatherization or construction, follows the same sequence, so you always know what's next and why.

01 / Assess

Walk-through & diagnostics

We inspect the home, or run a blower door and infrared scan for energy work, to find what's actually driving the problem, not just the symptom.

02 / Plan

Scope, permits & incentives

You get a clear scope and price, permits pulled where needed, and, for weatherization projects, a rundown of what incentives you may qualify for as a Trade Ally client.

03 / Build

Start to finish

Our crew executes the work directly. We don't subcontract out the parts we specialize in, so you get one point of contact from the first walk-through to the final inspection.

About Us

A family business focused on your home's efficiency.

PDX Construction Group is a growing, family-run crew based right here in Portland. We started this business because we care about the impact our homes have on the environment, and about helping our neighbors save energy and money while doing right by the planet.

Community has always been part of how we work. We've partnered with local nonprofits on critical home repairs, because we believe a safer, more efficient home shouldn't be out of reach for anyone. As a community service partner, we hold ourselves to a high standard on every project.

We look at every home as a whole system, using real data, not guesswork, to build a complete, holistic picture of how it performs before we recommend a single upgrade.
Trade Ally Program

How incentives lower your price

Being a certified Trade Ally means we're approved to work incentive programs directly into your project. Here's how that actually happens.

Before we ever price the job, we screen the project during your energy assessment against current incentive programs available to Trade Ally clients.
Trade Ally status lets us submit and manage incentive applications ourselves, instead of leaving you to file for a rebate after the work is done.
Where a program allows it, we reflect the incentive value directly in your upfront price, instead of you having to chase a rebate check separately.
Your final quote shows the project cost, what's covered by incentives, and what's left out of pocket, with no guessing where the number came from.
